Supportive Living is committed to providing compassionate, person-centered supports that help individuals with intellectual disabilities live everyday lives with dignity, choice, safety, independence, and belonging.
Guided by Pennsylvania ODP's Everyday Lives values, we support each person's right to control their life, make informed choices, build meaningful relationships, participate in the community, and pursue personal goals, employment, or other meaningful contributions.
At Supportive Living, "supportive" means walking beside the individual — not speaking over them, deciding for them, or limiting their potential. It means providing respectful assistance, encouragement, advocacy, skill-building, and reliable care that strengthens each person's voice, protects their rights, honors their family and cultural connections, and helps them live the life they choose.
Enable individuals to explore interests, hobbies, and activities in their communities that may help lead them to employment opportunities and meaningful connections. Outings with groups, or one-on-one with designated support staff.
Aid individuals in learning, and acquiring, daily living skills that improve the quality of their life, support their family unit, and help them to become more involved members of their community.
Companion services are provided to individuals in their homes and in their communities. In the delivery of this service, we provide supervision and assistance focused solely on the health and safety of the adult with intellectual disability.
Comprehensive job preparation, placement, and retention services that help individuals discover their strengths and build fulfilling, meaningful careers in their community.
